About the Role
This is a specialist role that uses ropes and climbing techniques to access various
heights and confined spaces to carry out a wide range of inspections, installations,
dismantling and repairs. Specifically:
• Dye Penetrant Inspection
• Magnetic Particle Inspection
• Visual Inspection
• Ultrasonic Inspection
• Radiographic Inspection
• Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing
Requirements
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Industrial Rope Access qualifications (IRATA 3)
• Working at Heights and Confined Space qualifications
• Manual Driver’s license • Confined space and working at heights within the last 2 years
• A reasonable level of health and fitness
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
• Satisfactory National Police Check
• Live or be willing to relocate to the Gladstone area
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
• Welding or Pressure equipment inspection certification
• Elevated work platform (WP) high risk license
• Construction Industry “White Card”
• Current Medipass, QAL and/or Rio Tinto Site Inductions are advantageous.
THE APPLICANT

• Understanding of relevant regulations, codes, standards and quality management systems, with a commitment to OH&S.
• Must have Australian working rights.
