Requirements

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of NDT technicians, ensuring a high level of professionalism, motivation, and collaboration.

• Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on the latest NDT techniques, equipment, and industry standards.

• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the NDT team.


Program Development and Implementation:

• Develop and implement NDT programs and procedures to ensure the accurate and reliable testing of materials and components.

• Collaborate with other departments to integrate NDT processes into the overall quality assurance and control framework.

• Stay abreast of technological advancements in NDT and recommend upgrades or changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Ensure that all NDT activities comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.

• Perform regular audits and assessments to verify the effectiveness of NDT procedures and the competency of NDT technicians.

• Address any non-conformities and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.


Client Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding NDTrelated matters.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external parties, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support client acquisition and retention efforts.


Equipment Management:

• Oversee the selection, calibration, and maintenance of NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability in testing.

• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to budget for and acquire necessary equipment and resources.


Qualifications:

• Certification in relevant NDT methods AICIP or API is highly desirable.

• Proven experience in NDT techniques, procedures, and program development.

• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to NDT.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.


Experience:

A minimum of 5 of experience in NDT, with 2 in a managerial or leadership role.
